Upon enrollment, Orion Gymnastics assumes that the customer has read, understood and agreed to the company’s policies as presented below. These policies apply to all participants. We reserve the right of final decision in case of any disputes.
We reserve the right to not run any classes if the minimum requirement is not met.
- Arrive five minutes prior to the start of your class.
- Wear appropriate attire:
- For girls: Gymnastics leotards with leggings or shorts (no socks or jewelry). Hair should be tied or braided and kept away from the face using an elastic hair band.
- For boys: Shorts and a fitted t-shirt.
- Attend the class you registered for at the designated day and time.
- Ensure you perform all skills correctly, taking your time to do so.
- Maintain a quiet demeanor and listen attentively when the coach provides instructions or corrections.
- Be ready for your turn during activities.
- Exhibit excellent behavior at all times.
- Seek permission before leaving the gym and return promptly to your assigned group.
- Exercise caution when moving between different stations and follow the coach’s guidance.
- Only coaches are authorized to provide spotting assistance for skills.
- Do not bring food or drinks into the gym.
- Store all personal belongings in the designated areas.
- Ensure punctual drop-off and pick-up of your children from the lobby; children should not walk to the parking area unaccompanied.
- While classes are in session, please remain in the waiting area.
- If you anticipate being delayed when picking up your child, please notify us in advance.
- You will receive invitations to enter the gym during Parent’s Week or whenever a coach requires your presence and assistance.
- Photography is permitted exclusively during Parent’s Week.
- Siblings or guests are not allowed to participate in classes for which they are not registered. Please arrange appropriate care and supervision for them.
- Payment of fees in full for the term must be settled before commencement of classes, even if the participant does not attend a class: the class fee pays for a class spot, regardless of personal attendance.
- Classes are non-transferable to the following term (may be transferred to siblings during the same term), and fees paid are non-refundable.
- We reserve the right to deny the participant access to class if the full fees have not been settled. The participant will be allowed to join the class when the specified amount is settled.
- Fees will be prorated when participants join later in the term.
- Yearly Registration Fee: valid from September 1st to August 31st and is non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Starting from September 5, 2023, a 5% VAT charge will be applicable.
- You have the option to make payments via card or bank transfer during registration or re-registration. However, class fees are due in full by the first day of the term.
- In the event of late payments, if you fail to meet the payment deadline, we will temporarily suspend participation until the outstanding fees are fully settled.
- Discounted class rates are available when enrolling in two or more classes per week or when two or more siblings are enrolled in the same class or term.
- Please note that the Registration Fee does not qualify for any discounts.
- We provide first-time participants with the choice of either a complimentary assessment (scheduled by appointment) or the option to attend a fee-based trial class in any of our gymnastics programs.
- Availability for trial classes is subject to class availability.
- Children who are injured should not participate in gymnastics classes unless they have received clearance from a medical professional.
- In cases of illness, such as the flu, vomiting, viral infections, chickenpox, etc., children should remain at home until they have fully recovered. Please wait for 24 hours after recovery before returning to class.
- For conditions related to the heart, spine, major surgeries, and the like, we require a medical certificate from a clinic or hospital in the Sultanate before accepting registration.
- If any signs of illness are observed during class, the child will be asked to return for the next class once they are in good health.
- Parents are responsible for promptly informing us of any changes in their child’s medical status and information. In certain cases, participation may be temporarily suspended until we receive further clarification.
- Please note that there will be NO refunds and NO credits for missed or canceled classes, regardless of the reason (personal holidays, vacations, weather-related cancellations, force majeure events, personal events, or any other circumstances) after attending the first lesson.
- Class fees cannot be carried over to the next term, or year.
- Class fees will NOT be adjusted due to personal holidays, vacations, missed or dropped classes, exams, family emergencies, or similar situations.
- If you wish to request a cancellation before attending the first lesson of the term, please submit your request in writing via email up to three days before the start of classes.
- In the case of medical situations, a prorated credit will be applied starting from the day we receive a written doctor’s note or written notification from parents (via email). Please note that retroactive requests for medical credit cannot be granted, as this would prevent us from filling the vacant class spot.
- Regarding gymnastics leotards, please be aware that there are NO refunds, NO exchanges, and NO credits available.
- Please inform us of any class absences via email at least 2 hours before the scheduled class. We can arrange for one makeup class per term.
- If there is a no-show or if you notify us after the class has concluded, the class will be considered as taken, and no makeup classes will be scheduled.
- Makeup classes are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
- Makeup classes must be completed before the end of the term.
- Please note that makeup classes are not available during Parent’s Week.
- If you are unable to attend during Ramadan, you may schedule classes before or after Ramadan within the same term on a first-come-first-serve basis. Ramadan classes may be deferred (subject to availability), provided the participant enrolls and pays the fees in full for the next term.
- We do not send reminders for makeup classes. Once time slots are assigned, it is the customer’s responsibility to attend.
- In the event of class cancellations by Orion Gymnastics, makeup classes will be offered on a day and time determined by Orion Gymnastics.
- Orion Gymnastics will be closed on all officially announced public holidays occurring within the term dates. Any exceptions from this schedule will be communicated in advance.
- During Ramadan, class timings will be adjusted, with classes starting earlier and having shorter durations (45 minutes).
Orion Gymnastics bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to the property or valuables of participants.
- Regarding the child’s progress, appointments can be scheduled via email or by phone.
- For information on classes, schedules, fees, and registrations, you can inquire at the front desk or visit our website.
- We will keep you informed of important announcements through email, SMS, and the website.
