The curriculum is designed to introduce children to rhythmic gymnastics and combines elements of gymnastics, ballet, apparatus handling and introduction of routines on set music.

This class allows children to build apparatus handling and flexibility skills using Ropes, Ribbons, Balls and Hoops as well as developing dance and ballet skills needed to perform the choreographed routines on music.
Each class begins with a warmup, including a focus on basic skills, such as body posture, balance, flexibility, and coordination. The class then advances through a variety of drills to master the techniques of the different apparatus, including the handling, throwing, catching, rolling, and tossing.
In addition, it develops artistic and expressive abilities, such as musicality, rhythm, and interpretation.
Minimum age: 6
Uniform: leotard and leggings.
Assessment to be scheduled before enrollment to establish level and class placement.
This is a child only class: parents are invited to remain in the waiting area during their child’s class time.
